Minx is a nail fashion product that can only be applied by a minx

specialist . The product is applied with heat and pressure, and does

not require any drying time. On average, Minx lasts from four to eight

days on the fingers, and up to four weeks on the toes, and is

available in a wide range of metallics, designs and graphics.

Unlike false nail overlays, Minx is a very thin, flexible film that

can be applied to either natural or false nails through a process

using heat and pressure - basically shrink wrapping to the nail. And,

unlike false nails, there is no glue or other chemicals required to

apply Minx. To remove it, you need only to apply heat and to break the

seal with your fingernail or orange stick, and then can peel off the

film without any damage to the nail.

Also, unlike traditional nail polish, Minx is applied dry, so there

are no fumes during application and no nail polish remover is needed

to take it off. Also, because it is a film and not a liquid, there is

no drying time required.

A no smudge, no odour, no damage alternative to traditional polish and

nail art that takes only a short time to apply.

Trish started by giving me one of her famous manicures before showing me a selection of designs. Metalic, cheetah, fishnet, camourflage designs are just a few of the many designs and colours available. You can even have your own picture on your design if you plan far enough ahead. Minx has been sported by celebs such as Lady Gaga, who wore Metallic in her music video. Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Riannah, Megan Fox plus many more have also been seen with Minx nails.

I went for silver metalic fishnet, it looked fantastic. I really like the metalics, I haven't come accross anything with the same effect on the market. Simply painting the nails in a metalic colour would not give you the look you get with Minx. I had lots of people saying my nails look great, generally people don't comment on my nails if i've just had them painted.

I'll definately get my nails minxed before any events or parties, it beats the look of nail varnish and the best part of it is there's no drying time so I can just get up and go afterwards without worrying about any smudging.
