First of all thank you for the compliment! It can be very tough keeping my skin looking fresh with as much time as I spend sweating in the gym. I wash my face three times daily with Aveeno Foaming Cleanser and I moisturize with Cetaphil face lotion morning and night. Both of these products are light and gentle enough for my sensitive skin. If you are going to be in the gym or our for a run, it is VERY important to at least rinse your face of the sweat right after you are done working out to help prevent breakouts.
I'm an eyebrow girl as well, I have to use that tiny eyebrow brush to shape my eyebrows before I leave the house in the morning. That, with some clear lip gloss and I am on my way!
My Vaseline Coco butter lotion for my dry skin, my eyebrow brush and my Burt's Beeswax lip balm.
I'm not a big spa person, I wish I had more time to pamper myself. The one thing I do try to do as much as possible is get to the hair salon and get deep conditioning treatments and trims to keep my hair healthy and shiny.
I don't have one...yet!
I love finding rainy days when I have very little to do so I can curl up on my couch and read a mystery novel, I also love to relax by taking super hot bubble baths and tuning the world out.
Being a National Level Figure Competitor I have to hit the gym hard 5-6 days a week. I am working hard to achieve my Pro Status, and hope to do so by following a strict clean eating diet, doing cardio and lifting weights at least 5 times a week.
I love shoulder press, leg press and hammer jammers. I am a big fan of anything intense that works my legs and shoulders.
I have an on season diet, and an off season diet. Off season I am usually trying to gain muscle mass in the cleanest way possible, so I load complex carbs along with lean meats and veggies. On season I am trying to keep the muscle I've gained but drop the fat. I do so by decreasing my number of complex carbs and amount of protein I take in. However, year round I am a BIG fan of Tight Curves chocolate protein powder, it not only ensures that I get the protein I need but has additional vitamins that help make my nails strong and hair stay healthy.
Other than trying to keep a clean diet I cannot stress the importance of drinking water enough! By consuming AT LEAST 8 glasses of water a day (more for athletes) you will not only notice a difference in how you feel but how your skin looks. Flushing your system with water through out the day keeps you hydrated, healthy and looking fresh!
I love whole wheat pasta with diced zucchini, chicken and a pinch of garlic salt. If there is anything else you would like to add please do so.
